Today is Friday, and it's a rally day! Woohoo! And most importantly, Spring Break starts today!! Yayyyyy! I'm so happy that we will be away from school for one whole week! I will miss some of my teachers and friends though. I hope today's rally is fun; Rally day means that the schedule is shorter, which is good because the day goes by faster. For this whole spring break, I plan on relaxing and doing absolutely nothing.
I wonder how the rally is going to be? I think the pig kissing is going to happen today too! I'm excited for that. I also heard from 8th graders that it wasn't too exciting. I can't wait to see all the different designs and games they have for this rally. It's definitely going to be fun.  Well I hope everybody has a good spring break.

I can't believe this season is over! It's so sad just to think about it. It's only been a day, but I already miss practice so much! I miss being with my team and my coach, and I miss having fun with them. Practice was always fun, and the games we played against other schools were always exciting and challenging. I really love my team because I think we are one of the best! I'm not just saying that because it's my school, but I really mean it. Although we lost 2 games, they were both very close, and we tried our best and worked hard. Like they say, it doesn't matter how many times you fall, but it matters how many times you get back up! There were many more things that I loved about basketball season, but most of all, that it was BASKETBALL. My favorite sport in the whole entire world.
I learned so much from this season. Before I was on the team, I was already practicing but I was still weak. Now that I practiced almost everyday, I've gotten better. I'm glad I did too. And I'm so proud of all of my teammates trying their hardest through out every game, especially those scoring 10-15 points every game! That takes a lot of practice and determination. I'm also glad that we had an amazing coach. She was just the best, and without her we wouldn't be doing things right. I really, really am going to miss this team, but hopefully we will all be together in the VARSITY team for 8th grade!!! And hopefully we take it to the championships! :D TIGER PRIDE ALL DAY!

It's Friday! I'm very glad that this week is coming to an end. It has been a busy, tiring week of school and I'm ready to do something that is relaxing to me: stay home, sleep, eat, and ball! This week, I had a STAR writing test in 5th period, a history test in Core, a quiz in pre-algebra. This week involved a lot of studying and organization.  Hopefully the next week is not as stressful as this one. My grades have also been horrible! All of my grades are A's, except in pre-algebara! I have a B!! I'm also planning on re-doing all of my work so that I will get straight A's for the 3rd quarter again. Hopefully it all works out! I also plan on finishing my book for Reading Counts. I need to quickly reach my goal before it is too late! Well, I hope all you guys have a good weekend!

Woohoo! It is the first of March, and it's Friday! I'm always excited for the weekend because I can finally get away from school, and relax. Too bad it is not a 3 day-weekend though! This weekend should be fun because it's my brother's birthday. He is getting very old, but it's okay, his age is still kind of young.  This weekend I look forward to hanging out with my friends, playing basketball, and catching up with late assignments for homework. It will just be another chill weekend.
As more weeks pass by, basketball season is coming to an end soon. I'm so sad that in the next 2 weeks, the season will be over!! I have grown to play with my teammates. I have learned so much, and I honestly think that I have gotten better. This season has showed me a lot about myself. Just 4 more games, and we're done! I'm sad that we lost to Tenaya, but I know that's our first and last game we'll ever lose! GO LADY TIGERS!

It was our first loss of the season. During the whole half of the game, we were in the lead, and the game was in our control. But it was during the 4th quarter that our game was getting intense. It was back to back, and the scores were always close. The score was 26-24, Computech still in the lead. Our only goal was to keep the ball in our hands, and to prevent them from scoring. But something happen, and it just wasn't good enough. They scored, so it was a tie, 26-26. This led to over time! It was my first overtime ever playing for a team. I felt the pressure, and I could tell the rest of my teammates did too. We had only 3 minutes to defend, steal, score, and win.  The crowd was cheering from the sidelines. I felt like I was in a real NBA game!!!
We all did our parts in the team. But I guess we all panicked and rushed it at the second. We all tried our best, and I think we played a very great game. At the end, Tenaya won by 4 points. I'm still proud of my team for not giving up. I love my team regardless!!!

Yay! It is finally Friday! I'm excited about the weekend again. This weekend I plan on doing homework, relaxing, and practicing for basketball. I really don't know what else to do. It has been a very long week and I just want to take a break from reading, writing, and learning. We had a lot  things going on this week, like new projects, writing samples, tests, etc. It can be very stressful stressful sometimes. This week we had a writing sample about a poem. It was response to literature, and we had to read a poem called "The Highwayman". I think that was a really interesting poem, but it was the type that you had to read more than twice to understand it.
I think I did really good on that, so hopefully I get the grade I think I deserve. It wasn't hard, the only difficult part was analyzing the poem and making sure your reader understand.  I hope everybody has a great weekend!

It is another 3-day weekend. The next weekend after this weekend will also be another 3-day weekend. This is why I love February because there are a lot of days that we have off from school. I don't have anything special planned for this weekend. Lots of homework was assigned, which really sucks because I hate doing homework over the weekend. It sucks how football season is over. My Sundays are going to be boring for a while now. I'm sad that my team (49ers) lost, but we will go for the 6th Super Bowl win next year. I think I'm going to the snow again this weekend.
When I went to the snow last weekend, it was so cold, but it was a fun and new experience for me. It was my first time seeing and touching snow. Now I can finally saw I have seen snow. While I was there, I learned how to snowboard. It wasn't easy at all. After many times of trying, I just gave up because the snow was really cold to fall on and the board was too heavy for me. But it's okay, it was my first time ever. It was fun though, my family and I fell many times, which left our bodies very sore the next day. Hopefully I learn to be better at snowboarding. Overall, it was cool to try this hobby/sport.

Today is Friday! Woohoo! It's not just a regular weekend either; it's a 3 day weekend, again! I have many things planned for this weekend. One of things I'm going to do is going to see snow!! It will be my first time, and I hope it's as amazing as I think it is. This experience should be very memorable. I hope I get to learn how to snowboard and make snow angels (I always wanted to do that!!!) Another exciting part of the weekend is the SUPERBOWL! I'm super excited for that, no words can explain my happiness for my 49ERS! We are definitely going for a 6th SuperBowl win! And I can't wait to witness that!  Then of course, I will find time to relax and do all of my homework and read. This weekend should be very awesome!!!
This week has been busy and awesome at the same time My friend's birthday, Journi, was on Thursday and we celebrated at school. That was fun. The girls JV and V Basketball teams also had a game against Kings Canyon and both of our Computech teams beat them!!! Sadly, I didn't score any points, but I will make sure of that next time. Well, I hope YOU have a good one!!!!

I think the most effective program that will help me remember and learn all about Microsoft would actually be the Microsoft practices and video lessons. Ribbon Hero 2 is also helpful, but I don't think it would help me remember it forever because it is just gives a quick lesson and goes on. It also doesn't correct your mistakes when you do it wrong. It just doesn't mark it down the goal you haven't done correctly.  Ribbon Hero 2 is also very short and straight forward, and that's what I like about it. What I dislike about the Microsoft videos is that they are very long, and they can get boring. The practices for Microsoft Word are sometimes confusing but after redoing the steps, it becomes easy and I learn from it because I actually took the time to do it correctly.
The Microsoft practices and videos really help me how to use Microsoft to its fullest potential. Although it takes awhile to get through the lesson, it is still effective. So if I had to pick which program is more effective, I would go with Microsoft. As much as I dislike sitting through the long videos, it still helps me learn.

Today is January 25th and it's my birthday!! My day has been going very well so far. I received many presents (junk food) from my friends, and lots and lots of hugs and birthday wishes. I appreciate all of it because it's what makes this day special! Now I can't wait to go home and celebrate it with my family and my best friends. I'm also excited for the weekend because it has been another long, tiring week of school and I need a break. I also have to prepare for my first basketball game next week! I'm super excited for that.
I made the basketball team! Yay! I'm so happy that I did. I feel like my hard work has paid off because I was practicing a lot. So far, we are learning defensive skills. I'm not use to it yet, but I know I will understand it soon. It's not that difficult either. Yesterday, we got to choose are jersey numbers!! I was also excited for that. Basketball has been fun and made some new friends. I think we are going to be a great team this year.
